- Italy joins China's New Silk Road project - Pretty interesting development, there is a long history of trade with the East from cities like Pisa, Genoa and Venice since around 1000 years, but I think those trade routes have not been as active in recent years, it makes sense that Italy would lead here, they have a lot of experience in this region
